You can join the Guild as a Friend, Associate or Full Member.

BECOME A FRIEND

£20 Annual Fee

This level of membership is intended to provide contact between the Guild and the many people who simply love traditional toys.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

£50 Annual Fee

This level of entry is appropriate for everyone who is involved in the world of contemporary and traditional toys, though not necessarily the maker. It is aimed at retailers, museums, teachers, institutions, and suppliers that work with toys, and of course anybody who wishes to give practical support to the Guild. An associate’s membership is a way of keeping abreast of what is happening in the world of hand-crafted toys, gifts, miniatures and collectibles.

  • Permission to use the BTG logo on your stationery

  • Monthly digital newsletter

FULL MEMBER

£110 Annual Fee

or £9.50 Monthly Fee

Membership of the British Toymakers Guild is aimed specifically at the craftsperson and toy designer. In order to be considered for acceptance as a member we need to see at least two photographs of your work, plus links to your website, where appropriate, and your background.

Membership includes:

  • Certificate of membership

  • BTG logo stickers

  • Lapel Badge

  • The BTG Book of Toys

  • Business Cards

  • Toy Safety by BSI

  • Permission to use the BTG logo on your stationery, website, and other social media channels.

  • Business listing on the BTG Website

  • Access to the members section of the website with exclusive benefits such as store discounts, a members’ forum, marketing material, events, useful information, and more!

  • Monthly digital newsletter

  • Invitation to BTG events

  • Receive business opportunities and repair enquires.

  • BTG updates

SELECTION CRITERIA

SAFETY NOTE

The Guild is not a legislative body. Therefore before considering an item for selection, the Selection Panel must be satisfied that the item in question conforms to the requirements of EN71 (BS5665) where applicable for toys intended for children below the age of 14.
